A full pathway includes Polaris before surgery and The Compass after surgery. Both are selected as standard; a single-product pathway is available only where the order form records that exception.

Patients can switch between the two at any time — this just sets which one they see first.

How patient data is handled — please confirm you understand

These are the promises the app is built on. Ticking them confirms you understand them — they form part of your agreement.

The app never collects information that identifies a patient — no names, dates of birth or NHS numbers.

Patients never log in or create an account — they stay anonymous.

No advertising or tracking of patients — only anonymous, combined usage statistics.

The app only shows information. It never diagnoses, advises, or makes decisions about a patient's care.

I understand the app can't prove that a particular patient read a particular page. It improves how information is shared, but it isn't proof that a patient gave consent.

I've chosen The Helm, where my staff sign in. I understand their sign-in details are handled under our data-processing agreement, which is set up before we go live.
